What each badge means
- ID verified
Government ID through DigiLocker, a live selfie matched to the ID photo. We store only a masked reference, never the document.
- Qualified
Degrees, certificates and federation ratings, checked at the source where a registry exists. Self-taught? You'll see a teaching demo instead of a badge.
- Video intro
Every teacher records a short intro. A reviewer watches it and confirms it's the same person as the ID.
- Place verified
Studios and centres send geo-tagged photos and video from inside the app. No gallery uploads, no stock photos.
- Background checked
Police and court-record check by a licensed vendor, with written consent. Mandatory for anyone who teaches at your home.
- Registered academy
Business registration and GST checked, plus every instructor vetted individually.
Software recommends. People decide.
We use software to read documents, watch videos and flag risk, so reviews are fast and consistent. It can approve low-risk applications. It never rejects anyone. Every rejection, suspension or home-visit approval is made by a trained human.
What we store, and what we don't
We store a masked ID reference, never the full Aadhaar number or a scan.
Children have no accounts. Child profiles are never used for ads or tracking.
Chats are retained so we can act on reports. Phone numbers are masked.
When something goes wrong
Report from any screen. Safety reports reach a trust-and-safety person within an hour. We are required to, and will, report abuse to the authorities under POCSO.
